The club is planning on activating the club call,
K7MVA, this year at Harmon Park in Twin Falls. It will be held
on the south side of the park near the parking lot, the same as last
year. We will have several stations in operation starting at
noon on Saturday, June 28th, and operating into the evening until we
decide we want to pack things up and go home. No plans are in
place at this time to operate on Sunday. We are looking
forward to everyone showing up and operating again this year.
The club will sponsor a BBQ around 3:30 Saturday
afternoon so be sure to stop by for food and a good time. The
club will furnish the food and drinks for the BBQ. If you want
food and drink at other times during the event, please bring your
own.
Lee Kelly, K6ZVA, will
bring the Emergency Communications Trailer for operation of digital
and other modes. He will also have a 5KW generator for use by
club stations.
We will arrive at the location at Harmon Park on Locust
St. around 9:30 a.m. to claim the spot and get things set up.
Field Day operations begin at 12 noon. We will operate into
the evening as long as folks want to hang around.
We will be activating the club call of K7MVA. If
you have any questions, contact Kelly, K7SU president (at) K7MVA.org
or Bob, KC7QR, vp (at) K7MVA.org.
